African Armies (all you need?)!Painting : We are sure you have a favoured system of painting your figures but we would like to offer a suggestion if it could be of use to you. Undercoat figures in matt white (car spray will do) Use a Burnt Sienna, green or brown ink wash (Windsor and Newton or similar) Then all you need to do is colour in the flesh in dark brown or European flesh as desired. Vehicles can be painted in the same way. Don't forget to flick over the vehicle with black for oil/ diesel mess; light brown for muck and silver for bare /worn metal. Bases can vary from green to sand coloured due to the vast area covered by Africa. "Base" means a group of 3 figures armed with small arms/lmg etc.
