Shows and Events

You can meet the Peter Pig team at shows . These are the team that design, produce, package and use the products. This is because we want to meet our customers, support the hobby and let gamers try our products before they buy.

At these shows we usually have a participation game on the go, so that you can see the rules and figures in action and take part. This allows you to judge the products before you buy. If we don't have a game with us it's usually because the show does not have space for us to do a game.

At most shows we have new products , so it is always worth visiting the Peter Pig stand.

When we put a game on it is always participation.

Polite reminder
Our convention games are not open to children. The games require full and complete attention for about an hour with a working knowledge of military vocabulary and strategy.
While some adults also chew our rulers and like to arrange our dice into towers, it's not something that is generally encouraged because it slows down play and spoils the game for everyone else.
Please do not be offended when we refuse a place to your child.

Stock at Shows
Our van cannot hold all of our ranges anymore. SO...............Several ranges including Ancients, resin models and Western will not be brought to shows. Please email us a week in advance and we will make a space for the range you request even if after looking you decide not to buy.
The maximum number of any figure pack we bring is now 6.Please pre-order if you know that you wish to buy more.

Show Orders
If you order via the shopping cart (email orders no longer accepted as they get overlooked in the large amounts of mail ) at least a week before the Show we will package it up and bring it along. You get a 10% discount on the unchanged order (no minimum size) when you collect it.
Promo code for orders to collect is available until each Monday before the convention. After this time we are crating stock for transport and shopping cart remains unsupervised (your order will be too late).

We no longer offer discounts to any Societies but hope that you will advance order and see us at a convention sometime during the year. This helps us and gives you a discount.
Members of any host club can assume a 20% discount on pre orders for their own convention. Please inform us of this after placing your order and we can adjust the discount already deducted automatically.

Paypal Express excludes opportunity to amend delivery address so each convention now has its own identifiable code. Individual codes also prohibits gamers placing orders to collect at shows which we do not attend....!

Please submit credit card details with order and contact us immediately if you prefer to pay in cash at the show - we can halt the manual processing of your card payment.

Use the individual promotion code and choose the "Collect" option to avoid shipping charges.

PBI Competitions

PBI competitions are great fun. There are always people present who can teach you the rules or lend you an army. Competition games have plenty of umpire able folk about. People come from all over to play. At present the biggest established event is the Portbury Club's "Off to war". This is held twice a year in Bristol. It is very easy to get to. The Bournemouth STAB club also put on a very good day.
